  1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Any entrant who is under the age of 18 years must have their parent or guardian’s permission to enter the promotion. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  3. The promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (“AEDST”) on Tuesday 2 April 2013 & closes at 11:59:59am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Monday 1 July 2013 (“Promotion Period”).
  4. In order to enter it is necessary during the Promotion Period to purchase any two LUCKY DOG products in a single transaction that have either a “Lucky Dip Promotion” sticker attached or have a “Lucky Dip Promotion” flash on the packaging (“Eligible Purchase”).
  5. To enter the prize draw, make an Eligible Purchase then choose the way you would like to send your entry: a. Mail – complete the entry form found in-store, attach the original receipt showing the Eligible Purchase and mail to: LUCKY DOG Lucky Dip Promotion, Reply Paid PO Box 271, Brookvale NSW 2100 (Note that a postage stamp is not required.)
    b. Online – go to www.purina.com.au/winwithluckydog and follow the prompts to submit your entry, including completing the survey questions and providing details about your Eligible Purchase. Online entry requires a valid email address and that the original purchase receipt for every Eligible Purchase and entry made is kept and may be presented if required by the Promoter in order to claim a prize.
  6. Entry is limited to once per Eligible Purchase, provided entry does not exceed once per calendar day. Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid.
    Online entry is further limited to no more than one entry in any calendar day and per residential address (“Household”).
  7. Entrants who sent an online entry must keep the original purchase receipt showing the Eligible Purchase safe for every entry they made until after the promotion closes. If an entry made online is drawn as a prize winner, the Promoter reserves the right to require the entrant to provide the proof that every entry they made was valid before awarding the prize. Further, any winner who entered online may be required by the Promoter to present the original purchase receipt showing the Eligible Purchase for every online entry made by their Household, including non-winning entries. The Promoter retains the absolute discretion to require any entrant, (including groups of entrants in the same Household), to provide proof of residency at the Household address shown on their entry before awarding a prize.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries that are not associated with a separate Eligible Purchase, or for submitting an entry which is not otherwise in accordance with these conditions of entry.
  9. In the case that the Promoter finds evidence of tampering by the entrant in the entry process or the verification process, in addition to declaring any or all entries made by the entrant invalid, the Promoter may in its complete discretion preclude that entrant from participation in any or all future promotions of the Promoter.
  10. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the next occurring Daily Prize Draw and non-winning entries will roll into remaining Daily Prize Draws. All entries will be entered into the major prize draw.
  11. The following prizes will be awarded:
    a. Major prize is a Ford Territory TX RWD valued at up to $44,864 and includes a non-metallic colour of the winner’s choice subject to availability and all on-road costs. The prize has the following specifications: 4.0L petrol engine, 6 speed auto, Reverse sensing system, 17" Alloy Wheels, prestige paint, Bluetooth® mobile phone integration#, Interior Command Centre with 5.8" LCD screen, iPod and USB integration. There is one Major Prize to be awarded.
    b. Daily Prize is an EFTPOS Gift Card with $250 credit. The gift card can be used anywhere in Australia that accepts EFTPOS, subject to Merchants discretion. The gift card must be activated within 3 months of date of issue and is valid for 12 months from date of activation. The gift card is subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions which can be read at www.giftcardplanet.com.au/disclaimer.php. There are a total of 78 Daily Prizes to be awarded. Prize draws occurring on weekends or public holidays will be conducted on the next working day.
  12. All prize draws will be conducted at Unit 6, 106 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale NSW 2100 as follows:
    a. Daily Prize draws will take place at 1pm commencing Monday 15 April 2013 and concluding on Monday 1 July 2013, (total of 78 prize draws). The first valid entry drawn will win the Daily Prize prize. Daily prize draw will include all entries up to 11:59:59am on the day of the Daily Prize draw.
    b. The Major Prize draw will take place on Monday 1 July 2013 after the final Daily Prize Draw. The first valid entry drawn from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period will win the Major Prize.
  13. All winners will be notified in writing within 48 hours of each prize draw. All winners’ names and postcodes will appear at www.purina.com.au/past-winners by Wednesday 10 July 2013 and will be published in The Australian as follows:
    a) Daily Prizes drawn 15 April – 5 May 2013 on 15 May 2013;
    b) Daily Prizes drawn 6 May – 26 May 2013 on 6 June 2013;
    c) Daily Prizes drawn 27 May – 9 June 2013 on 27 June 2013;
    d) The Major Prize and Daily Prizes drawn 10 June – 1 July 2013 on 10 July 2013.
  14. Total prize pool is valued at up to $64,364.
  15. Prizes are not transferable & cannot be taken as cash.
  16. Major Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.

If a prize remains unclaimed by Tuesday 1 October 2013 despite the Promoter’s best efforts to contact a winner, then subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original prize draws on that date to distribute any unclaimed prizes. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize of the highest value and the draw will continue awarding prizes in descending order of value until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner in such a draw will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the draw and will have their name and postcode published in The Australian on Tuesday 15 October 2013 and also at www.purina.com.au/past-winners by that date.
  21. If the major prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/guardian on their behalf.
  22. Each winner should look to the manufacturer of products and provider of services awarded as prizes for all warranties. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
  23. Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
  24. Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and each winner should allow 28 days from the prize draw date for delivery of their prize.
  25. PURINA PetCare Survey Promotion

  1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia who complete the PURINA Pet Survey and have a valid email address ("Eligible Entrant"). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter's associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  3. The promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time ("AEDST") on Thursday 1 November 2012 & closes at 5pm AEDST on Thursday 31 October 2013 ("Promotion Period"). Entries in each month's prize draw will close at 5pm on the last day of the month, either 5pm AEDST or 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time ("AEST"), depending on the month.
  4. To get an entry in the prize draw go to www.purina.com.au/pet-care-survey to complete the PURINA PetCare Survey, including adding or updating your contact details, then follow the prompts to submit your entry.
  5. Eligible Entrants may get an entry in the prize draw a maximum of once per calendar month, (ie. a limit of 12 entries during the entire Promotion Period), by completing the survey again and confirming or updating their contact details.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
  7. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the next occurring monthly prize draw and all non-winning entries will roll into any remaining monthly prize draws. Entry in each the monthly prize draw will close on the last day of the month at 5pm AEDST or AEST, depending on the month.
  8. The following prizes will be awarded each month:

  9. A monthly prize draw for entries received in the previous month will be conducted at 9:30am at Unit 6, 106 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale NSW 2100 on the first week day following the end of the previous month. The first monthly prize draw will occur on Monday 3 December 2012 and the final monthly prize draw will occur on Friday 1 November 2013, (total of 12 monthly prize draws). The first 3 valid entries drawn each month will each win a Major prize and the next 5 valid entries will each win a Minor prize.

Puppy & Kitten Club Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to become a member of the Purina Puppy & Kitten Club (“the Club”) & any prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  2. Entry to the Club is open to residents of Australia only. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. You must be aged 18 years or over to join the Club.
  3. The Purina Puppy & Kitten Club opens on 19th May 2008 & will remain open on an ongoing basis until the Promoter announces otherwise (“Promotion Period”).
  4. To join the Club, simply visit www.purina.com.au and sign up online. All mandatory fields must be completed for an entry to be deemed valid.
    1. Mandatory fields include a series of profiling questions. These questions relate to the following information:
      1. Contact information
      2. Preferred shopping channel
      3. Attitudes towards the pet
      4. Preferred feeding choices and food preparation
      5. Pet’s details – size, age, breed, birthdate etc
    2. The responses to these questions will determine which Purina brand is most suitable for the pet. Based on this, a brand will automatically be assigned to each entrant, and this will define which communications will be dispatched to them and the method of communication they will receive.
    3. Methods of communication can include telephone, email or mail.
  5. Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
  7. By joining the Club, members agree to receive communications in various forms from Purina for the duration of the program, or until they supply written/email confirmation of their wish to opt-out of the programme.
  8. If the promoter receives returned mail from a member’s postal address, the promoter reserves the right to continue email communications to the member, until such time that the member supplies written/email confirmation of their wish to opt-out of email communications.

  2. Entry is open to individuals and family groups who are residents of Australia who are members of The Purina Puppy & Kitten Club® and have a valid email address ("Eligible Entrant"). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter's associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  3. The Promotion commences on 9am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time ("AEDST") on Tuesday 11 December 2012 & closes at 10am AEDST on Tuesday 10 December 2013 ("Promotion Period").
  4. To enter the prize draw, complete your contact details and the questionnaire found at www.purina.com.au .
  5. Limit of one entry per household (based on street address).
  6.   10. All draws will occur at 11am at Unit 6, 106 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, commencing with the 1st draw on Tuesday 8 January 2013 and concluding with the 12th draw on Tuesday 10 December 2013. The first valid entry drawn each month will win the prize.
  11. All winners will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the prize draw and their name and postcode will be published in The Australian on the last Tuesday of the month that they won their prize, commencing Tuesday 22 January 2013 and concluding on Tuesday 31 December 2013. Each monthly winner's name and postcode will also appear here on the same date.
  12. Total prize pool is valued at $6,000.
  13. Prize is not transferable & cannot be taken as cash.
  14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  15. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Nestlé Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting www.nestle.com.au or calling 1800 005 510. An entrant's details may only be used to contact the entrant about the Promoter, its related companies, their brands, special offers, samples, consumer research and other promotions if the entrant consents to that use, for example by ticking an "opt in" box on an entry form.
  16. Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. If a prize remains unclaimed by Friday 4 April 2014 despite the Promoter's best efforts to contact a winner, then subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original prize draws on that date to distribute any unclaimed prizes. The first valid entry drawn will win the unclaimed prize and the draw will continue until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner of such a draw will have their name and postcode published in The Australian on Friday 11 April 2014 will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the draw. The name and postcode of all winners of such a draw will appear here by that date.
  18. Prize will only be delivered in Australia and the winner should allow 28 days from prize draw for delivery of their prize.
  19. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  20. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
