Tips for Living Frisky
Cat-gility Course
Creating your Own
Cat-gility Course
Your cat will live even friskier with their own agility course. Training your cat is a great way to keep their mind stimulated and their body in top shape. And the time you spend together will help you build an even closer bond with your furry friend.
You've probably already got just about everything you need. Feel free to improvise with safe alternatives. And be sure to visit our Training Tips page for ways to make your training efforts even more successful. Remember, never feed your cat directly from your hand - put their reward on the ground or if you're using wet food, at the end of a spoon.
Training the course, one step at a time

Step 1
The embroidery hoop is your first obstacle. Hold it slightly off the ground, with your cat on one side and a tasty FRISKIES treat on the other. When your cat makes it through, give them the treat. If you're using a clicker, click as soon as they walk through and then provide a reward.
Step 2
Next, make a wall out of your empty box of FRISKIES food, with your cat on one side and a reward on the other, and have your cat jump over it.
Step 3
The third test is the cat tunnel. Guide your cat through it with a captivating treat, and be sure to reward them once they make it through.
Step 4
Complete the course with a leap onto a chair or scratching post, and give your cat a final tasty FRISKIES treat.
