Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia who have a valid email address ("Eligible Entrant"). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter's associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time ("AEDST") on Monday 24 October, 2011 & closes at 5pm AEDST on Tuesday 20 December 2011 ("Promotion Period").
4. To enter, follow these steps:
   1. Make an Eligible Purchase, which is buying any combination of 10 cans of FANCY FEAST from the 85g range in a single transaction, (includes Classic, SENSATIONS or Royale product ranges);
   2. Visit www.purina.com.au/winakitchen and follow the prompts to complete a short survey and enter your contact and Eligible Purchase receipt details then submit your entry. (Important - keep the original purchase receipt showing the Eligible Purchase for every entry made during the Promotion Period safe until after the prize draw).
5. Entry is limited to once per Eligible Purchase, provided entry does not exceed once per calendar day and residential address ("Household").
6. The Promoter reserves the right to require any entrant to provide the proof of an Eligible Purchase for every entry they made during the Promotion Period in order to claim a prize. Further, any winner may be required by the Promoter to present the proof of an Eligible Purchase for every online entry made by their Household, including non-winning entries. The Promoter retains the absolute discretion to require any entrant, (including groups of entrants in the same Household), to provide proof of residency at the Household address shown on their entry before awarding a prize.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed to make multiple entries that are not associated with a separate Eligible Purchase, or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
8. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into the prize draw.
9. The prize is $20,000 which will be delivered to the winner in the form of a cheque made payable to their name. The amount is awarded so that the winner may apply the prize towards a new kitchen. There are a total of 5 prizes to be awarded.
10. The prize draw will be conducted at 10am on Thursday 22 December 2011 at Unit 6, 106 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale NSW 2100. The first five valid entries drawn will each win the prize.
11. The five winners will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the prize draw and their names and postcodes will be published in The Australian on Wednesday 4 January 2012 and also at www.purina.com.au/promotions
12. Total prize pool is valued at $100,000.
13. Prize is not transferable & cannot be taken as cash.
14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Purina Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting www.purina.com.au/privacy or calling 1800 005 510.
16. Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original prize draw on Thursday 22 March 2012 to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority. The first valid entry drawn will win the unclaimed prize and the draw will continue until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner in such a draw will have their name and postcode published in The Australian on Friday 30 March 2012 and will also appear at www.purina.com.au/promotions
18. By entering the competition and claiming a prize, each prize winner acknowledges that the Promoter may use their name, image and photographs for publicity and promotion purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photographs and in all material incorporating the photographs.
19. Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and each winner should allow 28 days from the prize draw for delivery of their prize.
20. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
21. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
