During the devastating floods and storms, many pets throughout Queensland and northern NSW became lost or stranded. However as the rain clears and the water subsides, we are hearing reports that some people have taken in lost pets, caring for them until they can be reunited with their owners.
If you, or someone you know, has lost or found a pet during the past week, we suggest visiting Animals lost and found in QLD floods, and adding your entry. Messages are being posted regularly, with the aim to reunite pets with their owners as soon as possible.
As always, the Purina Advice Centre is on hand to provide free information and support to those who have found a pet or animal that needs help and care, and are unable to get to a vet or animal facility straightaway. You can call the Purina Advice Centre on 1800 738 728 or send a message on the Ask Purina page on this site.
